Anouk Bertner

Anouk has worked in social enterprises, non-profits, and sustainability for the past 15 years. She loves to tackle complex problems with system thinking to tease out new win-win solutions. Most recently, Anouk served for seven years as the Executive Director of EcoEquitable, a female-centric organization that works primarily with vulnerable and visible minority women.
EcoEquitable is the recipient of the United Way’s 2018 Community Builder of Year Award in the category of Poverty to Possibility and the 2019 Best Performance in Social Entrepreneurship by the Best of Ottawa Business Awards. Anouk is currently a member of the National Advisory Board for Common Approach to Impact Measurement, a national project that seeks to create common indicators for charities and purpose-based organizations to use in their work. She is currently taking the Common Foundations for Indicator Measurement course offered through Common Good Solutions. She is a member of Buy Social’s SUPER Advisory Committee on recommendations for social enterprises wanting to bring their goods to market.
